Concept

Monta was introduced as a tea and bakery concept inspired by the landscapes and ingredients of Yunnan.

Rooted in the idea of mountain-sourced produce and slow preparation, the brand focuses on real ingredients, natural flavors, and everyday rituals. The goal was to translate this sense of authenticity into both the product and the physical environment.

From the beginning, Monta was developed as a fully integrated concept, shaped from brand identity to menu and space.

Interior & Spatial Design

The interior reflects a calm and natural material palette.

Warm wood, stone textures, and softly diffused light create an atmosphere that feels grounded and handcrafted. Translucent panels, simple geometries, and clean lines reference traditional tea culture while remaining contemporary.

The layout supports open preparation and visible cooking, reinforcing transparency and freshness in the customer experience.

Branding

We developed Monta’s logo, visual identity, packaging, and graphic system from the ground up.

The identity is quiet and refined, using restrained typography and natural tones to communicate purity and craft. Every touchpoint, from cups to signage, follows one cohesive language that supports the brand’s emphasis on honesty and materiality.

Product & Experience

Beyond the space, we designed the product program in-house.

Drinks and baked goods are prepared through steaming and slow cooking methods using real fruits, vegetables, and whole ingredients. This process-driven approach connects the brand directly to its source and differentiates Monta from conventional milk tea concepts.

Outcome

Monta establishes a distinct position as a nature-driven tea and bakery brand, demonstrating how integrated branding, product design, and spatial experience can form a cohesive and memorable hospitality concept.
